Every HolidayCrest guide follows the same rules, so you can trust the numbers and know how current they are.

How we research a guide

  1. We pick one question a traveller actually searches for, such as "Kerala trip cost from Hyderabad", and write one page for it.
  2. We collect facts from primary sources: airline and IRCTC websites for fares and timings, official tourism and government sites for entry fees and rules, and hotels and local operators for stay and transport rates.
  3. We note the source and the date for every number.
  4. We write the guide in our own words. We never copy text from other websites.

How prices are checked and refreshed

  • Every price shows the month it was checked, for example "Prices checked October 2026".
  • We re-check prices on cost guides and destination guides every 90 days, and sooner when fares or rules change sharply.
  • Totals include travel from your city, stay, local transport, food and entries, plus visa and insurance for international trips. We add a 10% buffer for small costs.
  • Prices are estimates for planning. What you pay depends on dates, availability and who you book with.

How we use AI

We use AI tools to help draft and structure some guides. AI never has the final word:

  • A team member edits every draft and checks every number, name and rule against the sources.
  • Anything that cannot be confirmed is marked for checking and is not published until it is resolved.
  • Visa, health and safety information always links to the official source and shows the date it was checked.

Independence

We do not accept payment for rankings, recommendations or reviews. We do not show fake discounts, countdown timers, ratings or "only 2 left" messages. If we ever work with travel agencies in future, it will be clearly labelled and will not change what our guides say.

Corrections

If something is wrong or out of date, write to hello@holidaycrest.com with the page link. We check reports within 2 working days, fix confirmed errors, and update the "Updated" date on the guide. Significant corrections are noted at the end of the guide.

Byline

All guides are published under the byline HolidayCrest Team, because each one is researched, edited and fact-checked by more than one person.
